U.S. laboratory, StemCyte International Cord Blood
Center, is a division of
StemCyte, Inc. and is the processing, storage and release laboratory for both
our public cord blood products and our family bank products. StemCyte
Family is also a division of StemCyte, Inc. and is dedicated to bringing the
quality and efficacy of a public bank to families who want to save their baby's
stem cells for their own family's use. In order to do this, StemCyte
Family uses the StemCyte International Cord Blood
Center to process, store
and release its cord blood products, also. Thus, our U.S.
laboratory processes both the public and the family units and does so using the
same 400 standard operating procedures and quality controls to ensure that every
final product is processed to our rigorous standards. For after all, one
day these cells may be needed to save the life of someone you
love.
